Penetration Testing & Security Research — Dhaka, Bangladesh

We test like attackers.
We report like engineers.

Slow Loris Tech is an offensive & defensive security firm built on one principle: automated scanners find the obvious, manual validation finds what actually gets you breached. Methodical by name. Deadly accurate by practice.

The Name

Slow by name.
Slowloris by nature.

The name carries two references, not one. The slow loris — a nocturnal primate that watches for a long time before it moves, and rarely misses once it does. And Slowloris, the famous denial-of-service technique: it needs no bandwidth and no brute force, just patience — open a connection, send data agonizingly slowly, hold it open until the server's resources quietly run dry.

Both are unhurried. Both look harmless right up until they aren't. That's the same principle behind every engagement we run: deliberate, low-noise, and completely effective — the scan alone was never going to find what actually gets you breached.

// no exploit, no flood — just patience.
// that's the whole point.
Key Areas

What we actually
test, in detail.

Eight core capability areas — automated coverage backed by hands-on exploitation, broken down to what each one actually covers.

More Ways It Goes Wrong
No Change Control

A firewall rule "temporarily" opened for testing.

An engineer opened a port to debug a deployment issue and meant to close it after. There was no change ticket, no second reviewer, no reminder — just a Slack message that got buried. Four months later, that same port was how an attacker got in.

This is why configuration & hardening reviews check what's actually open, not what the change log says should be.

No Patch Management

The update that sat in the queue for a year.

A critical CVE was published for a library the company used. IT flagged it, scheduled the patch — and then it slipped, quarter after quarter, because nothing broke in the meantime. Until an automated scan found it from the outside first.

This is why our VAPT & vulnerability assessments re-check known CVEs against your live environment, not just your patch spreadsheet.

Weak Credentials

One password, reused everywhere.

An admin used the same password for the CMS, the VPN, and a personal email — reused for years because rotating it "was a hassle." When that email turned up in an unrelated breach, the same credentials walked straight into the company VPN.

This is why credential & access hygiene is checked in every engagement, not treated as an afterthought.

Third-Party Risk

The vendor account nobody revoked.

A contractor's VPN access was never switched off after the project ended. Eight months later, that same account — still active, still trusted by every system — was the way in.

Vendor and third-party access needs the same scrutiny as an employee's, including an expiry date.

Where Programs Actually Fail

It's rarely just
the firewall.

The most common security failures we see in IT teams aren't exotic exploits — they're gaps in people, process, and policy that quietly build up over time.

Real-World Evidence

When this goes wrong at scale.

Two of the most documented breaches in history — not because the attacks were exotic, but because the underlying failure was exactly this pattern.

Why Awareness Training Matters

The numbers before and after.

Independent industry data on what happens when staff actually go through training — not just what we claim.

Real Scenarios

How people actually get caught out.

Six short, common scenarios — the same ones your training program is built to prevent.

Final price depends on group size, session length, and location. USD figure is an approximate conversion for reference — you'll be quoted and invoiced in Taka.

Not Sure Where To Start?

Free 20-Minute
Cybersecurity Guidance Call.

A short, no-obligation call to talk through your current setup and point you toward the right next step — whether that's a pentest, a WAF review, or just a second opinion. No pitch, no pressure.

Slots run Friday & Saturday, 6 PM – 12 AM (GMT+6). Pick a free slot and a Google Meet link is generated automatically.

Why It Matters

It started with one email.

An employee at a mid-sized firm opened an invoice PDF that looked like it came from a known vendor. Ten minutes later, an attacker had a foothold on their laptop. Six hours later, they'd moved sideways into the file server — because a service account still had its default password, and nobody had ever tested it.

By the time anyone noticed, the backups had already been touched. Nothing about the attack was clever. It just went unchecked.

This is exactly why technical testing and phishing simulation & awareness training run together, not separately — most breaches start with a person, not a firewall.

The Approach

Slow to move.
Impossible to miss.

The Slow Loris moves with deliberate patience, then strikes with total precision. Our methodology follows the same three-step order, every time.

!

Equifax's own vulnerability scan, run specifically to catch the flaw that ultimately caused its 2017 breach, missed it. Step two of our process — manual validation — exists because automated tools miss things scanners are supposed to catch, on a schedule that has nothing to do with when an attacker actually looks.

Who's Behind The Engagement

Real credentials.
Real sector experience.

No outsourced, anonymous testers. Every engagement is led by someone who has actually worked inside the systems your industry runs on.

$2.66M

Average breach cost saved by organizations with a tested, practiced incident response plan — the single biggest cost-reducer in IBM's 2025 Cost of a Data Breach Report. Testing before the incident is what makes that plan worth having.
